Quest for Northern Québec on the famous Cabonga reservoir at the Bark Lake Lodge.

Were going after record walleye, blue walleye and lake trout on the famous Cabonga reservoir in Northern Québec.

Our technical segment will feature tips on using attractors for trout and salmon. This journey at the Bark Lake Lodge will show you the enormous potential of the huge Cabonga reservoir. You will be amazed at the fantastic fishing. Plus big pikes are underfished here.

We will fish early summer walleyes plus some bonus lake trout. Spring black bear hunting is available for the first time at the Bark Lake Lodge. The black bear population represents one of the highest densities In the province. Some bears are near the 500 lb. mark. The success rate is almost 100%.

La Réserve Beauchêne a Fishing Wonderland.

The Outdoor Passion team will visit the famous La Réserve Beauchêne in Northwest Quebec in the Abitibi-Temiscaming region near the Ontario border. This is a top notch destination with over 55,000 acres of private wild forest and many many lakes and rivers.

Ray will fish for giant walleye, pike and lake trout with a very special guest Tony Mignacca president of the Sail Outdoors Superstores and for the first time on Outdoor Passion you will see the elusive Splake trout a beautiful hybrid fish that keeps the looks of it's parents the speckled and lake trout.

This week, let's visit this special place La Réserve Beauchene. You will see that, here anybody can catch huge fish.

The Golden Rainbow Trout and the Channel Catfish.

This week the Outdoor Passion team will cast and troll for the elusive Golden Rainbow Trout at the La Barrière lodge situated in Québec's gorgeous Lanaudière region.

Very rare and little known the golden rainbow trout is one of the most spectacular fish to catch.!

In the second half of the show you will find out that there's more opportunities than popular sportfish. Many other interesting less known species swim in the same waters and this week we are fishing for the hard fighting monster Channel Catfish.

The Giant Bucktail Muskies

Outdoor Passion will take you to the Ottawa and St-Lawrence river for early summer giant muskies, casting bucktail lures in very shallow waters. Along the way Ray Carignan will share with us a new way to protect your outboard motor with the Pro Tech Marine cover. Our how to segment will feature tips on outboard maintenance.

The musky is considered a tough fish to catch. You need to always watch your lure to constantly catch them. They are known to follow your lures to the boat and hit next to it.

Today we'll visit the Outaouais region in western Québec in the Eastern part of Canada.

This is a top notch destination with over 33,000 square miles of wild forest and over 20,000 lakes and many many rivers. You will see great bass, pike, walleye and trout action. Outaouais is one of few areas in Quebec were smallmouth and largemouth bass thrive.

Hunting is represented by bear, moose, deer and small game. Over 90,000 deers are found in the woods and forest of this area. Moose and bear populations represent one of the highest densities in Canada.
